About Us

Located in the centre of Ireland we are an Engineering Consultancy Practice that deals with a cross section of civil and structural engineering duties nationally.

We have an experienced staff of Chartered Engineers and pride ourselves on a timely, efficient turnaround of instructions from clients utilising our vast expertise ensuring our clients obtain the best possible outcome.

At the helm of our Practice is Luke Hyland, Dip. Eng., B. Eng., C. Eng., M.I.E.I., Chartered Engineer who has in excess of 15 years experience dealing with a wide variety of engineering consultancy commissions. These briefly include full civil and structural design for residential and commercial developments, conducting building condition assessments for property purchasers, preparation and advice for fire certificate applications, full planning permission applications, topographical site surveys for use in planning applications, boundary disputes expert witness, etc. A full list of services is also available on this website.

We are fully supported by office staff with in excess of 30 years experience in large corporations, international organisations and small business practices.

Managing Director

Luke T Hyland

Luke’s education background is that he attended Carlow Institute of Technology obtaining his Higher Certificate Civil Engineering with Distinction; then he obtained his Higher Diploma Civil Engineering with Distinction at Napier University, Edinburgh, with his Honours Degree Civil and Transportation Engineering with First Class Honours. Luke is currently undertaking study for his Masters Degree in Structural Engineering and has completed the taught aspect of this which was comprised of nine specialist modules of structural engineering which brings his understanding to an expert level. He is in the process of completing his research thesis in the field of stability of masonry walls. Luke is included in the register of members of Engineers Ireland as a Chartered Engineer.
